Sports & Amusements

The people of Pekua Upazila have been interested in sports and recreation since ancient times. Although cricket and football are now dominant among the popular sports here, wrestling is not lagging behind among other sports. This game is held in different unions in the month of Baishakh every year. There are several playgrounds in Pekua Upazila including Pekua Upazila Stadium, Barbakia Adarsh High School play ground.
